Piet Mondrian Attempt

I made a preliminary attempt using microsoft paint and found it to be way too cluttered. I simplified my ideas and sketched them onto a wooden board which i had prepared with gesso. I painted the black lines on and then filled the rectangles formed by the lines with primary colours. To finish it, i covered the entire thing with a gloss medium.
