This is my artwork.

First stages and completed "Columbine" Venetian mask.
To make the mask, i covered the models face with plastic wrap. Then I cut plaster strips to the desired length and width. I wet the plaster strips in a small bowl of water, placed them on the model's face and smoothed it out.
I kept adding plaster strips until I had a decent thickness and let it dry once it was removed from the model. After 24 hours, it was completely dry. I added more plaster strips to the rim and eyes to strengthen it. I also added eyebrows.

After these dried, I painted on 2 layers of white school glue to prevent the acrylic paint from "soaking" into the plaster. After the glue had dried, I drew the outline of my design onto the mask.
Then, I painted the mask with 3 coats of acrylic paint and let it dry. When the whole mask was completely dry, I painted on 3 coats of white school glue to seal it and to give it a glossy look.
